Hi,
I am about to ditch my stock 225R50 17" tires for something like PS2's, but I was wondering about the benefits of pytting slightly wider tires on the back. From what I think I saw somewhere (including in the door of the car), it looks like the back could take 245R40 17" tires instead of 225 wide tires.
Has anyone done this? Does this help or hurt the handling at all? Is there any reason not to do that besides price? I think that I would like the wider look on the back of the car and would hope that this would help the car stick a bit more to the track. On the other hand, I would not to change the handling of the car profundly because the car is handles pretty well with the stock width on the back.
Any adive would be very appreciated.
