I did the swap by myself last week on the street and it wasn't too bad. Would have been cake if I had an extra set of hands to guide the diff in and out of the subframe. turbodefrost 10-31-2007, 02:57 PM Harmony Motorworks in Bellingham :) they're good if you want to wait a week for work to get done. If you really want a shop to do it I suggest going to European Autoworks in Bellingham. Ron (the owner) is very knowledgeable and trustworthy, and they can usually start working on your car same-day. You can check out their website from the link in my sig. cheades 10-31-2007, 03:27 PM they're good if you want to wait a week for work to get done. Ron is a great guy and would probably have the diff swap done in 2 hours. coldblooded 328 10-31-2007, 07:30 PM Harmony Motorworks in Bellingham :) Ben was telling me that you have a nicely equipped garage. Would it happen to have a lift :D deafboy 10-31-2007, 09:50 PM lol...I have a nice garage setup...tools and stands and whatnot...but no lift. working on that though...lol. go323is 10-31-2007, 11:28 PM Ron is a great guy and would probably have the diff swap done in 2 hours. I have never heard anything negative about Harmony. EA has nice shop on a smaller scale than Harmony. Not sure about the per hour shop time. Does anybody know? turbodefrost 11-01-2007, 01:09 PM There must be a reason why you have to wait a week? Because they do good work, I'm thinking. I have never heard anything negative about Harmony. Does anybody know? oh yeah I totally agree, Harmony does great work, before I knew about EA I always went there and was happy. I just prefer EA b/c they're more personal and do equally great work and usually can get your car out the door faster. Which matters to me. I'm pretty sure they both charge $85/hr. JohnnyWash1 11-01-2007, 04:12 PM +1 for Ron. Ben and I know him way too well. deafboy 11-01-2007, 06:38 PM I might have to check them out.... turbodefrost 11-01-2007, 09:57 PM I might have to check them out.... you definitely have to check them out.
