And how do you know this? As in the past -- BMW would be looking to prove that your modifications caused any problems that arose... BraveUlysses 10-31-2007, 10:47 AM And how do you know this? As in the past -- BMW would be looking to prove that your modifications caused any problems that arose... It doesn't piss it all away, just that they can deny any warranty work related to the powertrain. I'm not familiar with BMW's 4 or 5 years of free maintenance policy but they could easily add a clause to that as well. 808AWD325xi 10-31-2007, 11:29 AM So Paul, plans on day 1461 of ownership of the 335? :) :D Oh yeah! :cashwalle jrhaile 10-31-2007, 11:41 AM its cool n all but that e92 m3 still has its engine warranty in tact, while the 335 doesnt. i just cant imagine pissing away a 4 year warranty on a pretty much brand new car even if it is 70whp and 100rwtq. Lame.. you know nothing bro. My good friend has a 335i with V2 tuning and anytime he has to take it on, he swaps out the ECU. Takes him 20 minutes. Warranty fully intact..
