View Full Version : suspension work complete
EstorilRoc3060 10-30-2007, 01:02 AM Well, thanks to Jordan aka Stück and if it wasn't for him...He seriously an amazing quick simple job on my car. I SERIOUSLY reccomend (sp?) him for work on your car, not only that, but he's damn decent on the wallet. I already have another project for him! Anyways, I just thought I owed him a thanks and definitely thought I should tell you guys what great he does in case you didn't already know.

Bimmerista 10-30-2007, 01:45 AM Lets see some pics of your Estoril :D
SecretAznSauce 10-30-2007, 02:36 AM I don't like Stuck, he left in a middle of an E-fight with me over HID's, just like 1 hr ago
EstorilRoc3060 10-30-2007, 10:31 AM I can't right now, I have class from 11:30 to 5:30 today, and then workout, but I'll get them soon, no worries
EstorilRoc3060 10-30-2007, 08:58 PM Well I love the suspension, but I'm already thinking about getting some lower setting springs. Don't get me wrong, I love the UUC ones, they are great, but I was hoping for a little bit less wheel gap. OR does the car drop once I set the Koni struts to a more aggressive setting?
EstorilRoc3060 10-30-2007, 09:30 PM Also, I was thinking about upgrading to a 3.5 CAI, can I piece this together or do I just have to buy the whole thing? What about software too, and larger injectors? Anything else I'm missing?
Stück 10-30-2007, 09:44 PM Koni stiffness setting won't affect the ride hieght, you would need to change springs to accomplish that.
Many people piece together a "kit" for the 3.5 HFM conversion, but its not much cheaper than buying a presorted kit... unless you happen across some real deals.
EstorilRoc3060 11-19-2007, 01:12 PM sorry it took me so long to post, I took these in a hurry today, I'll try to get better angles later, let me know what you guys think.

He'll be easy to spot at the next meet.

+1 Stuck is the man! :alright
EstorilRoc3060 11-19-2007, 04:28 PM haha the finger is by some stroke of luck perfectly fine. I was shutting a door and as I was walking away it ripped from my nail up to my finger tip and almost tore the finger tip off. It was knarly, I could touch the bone once they took the nail off. I got more pics of it with stiches if you want, haha, I had 7 in there 2 on each side to keep the tip on and 3 to reconnet the part that makes the nail grow. It's truly amazing what the human body can recover from.
By the way, when is the next meet?
Stück 11-19-2007, 04:35 PM haha the finger is by some stroke of luck perfectly fine. I was shutting a door and as I was walking away it ripped from my nail up to my finger tip and almost tore the finger tip off. Oww oww oww. I got my hand slammed in a car door when I was a kid once. Hurt like hell and the nail turned black and pretty much fell off in a day or 2. It was nasty.
EstorilRoc3060 11-19-2007, 05:30 PM hey Stück, if I ever got a turbo would you install it?! If not, does anyone know a general cost of a install?
Stück 11-19-2007, 08:04 PM I'd expect to pay a good shop 3-4k to install a full turbo setup, and thats not really a job I'm that interested in. Thats far beyond the fairly simple TS SC install I just did.
