View Full Version : Dinan software ever on sale?
weaksauce 10-29-2007, 12:48 PM I thought I remembered seeing someone put Dinan software on sale in the past. Am I crazy, or is this correct? And who was it?
Dallas BMW seems to come to mind, but I can't recall. I wanted to upgrade the X5's engine and tranny software.

2 I think. I was going to do teh HFM as well
bimmerd00d 10-29-2007, 04:50 PM Hmm, i think the 540 might do well with some Stage 1 software. Don't think i'll be able to con them into anything higher since I won't give them money for anything else. What's the stage 1, $250?
it was on sale last summer in august... when i bought mine for my e36 :)

For Dinan? Where?
elemental59437 10-29-2007, 05:29 PM I'll sell/swap my ecu for a stock one if someone wants to. I want to get an engine management system anyways. I think its stage 2 or 3, Mark would know better.
MCM97 10-29-2007, 05:55 PM Strage Three
elemental59437 10-29-2007, 09:48 PM Gracias Mark. Wasn't sure and I was too lazy to look for the info.

Buyse13 10-29-2007, 10:25 PM would dinan software in a e46 325i be pointless?

the gains are minimal at best... unless you don't like the speed limiter, or the stock rev limit... then, by all means...

So basically if I want to bend piston rods or drive the car faster than the design can handle, im good to go!

it only raises it a few hundred rpm, i believe to 6800, or maybe its 7000... nothing too crazy.
petern101 10-30-2007, 06:27 PM i wish dinan still made some ecu software for hondas
