I bought a DPEO setup but there were no low beams. It has HID brights and AE but there are no low beams. The connector is pictured below removed from the housing. Can anyone tell me what type of bulb fits into this connector? I live in the sticks and neither of the auto parts stores had a clue.

That is an excellent ?. These are the top of the line from habbie's boys, I have no idea why there are no low beams. The two wire wires you see cut came from them that way. They prewired the AEs but never installed lows, is this normal?

Habbie,

The brights are great, but no lows where I live is a joke. W5W--those have a max wattage of 7.7W, that would suck for lowbeam lighting.

I bought the works package, depo with 55w hid's predator chromium, angel eyes, and stoneguards. To me this says DEPO lights (low beams), 55W HID (high beams), and AE DTRL. What am I missing?

zx7rhitch,

Can you please let me know what I need, its a hell of a drive from the end of the world to get two bulbs. Thanks.

You have HIDs in your High beams?Thats just wrong you should have HIDs in your low beams where the special lens is.Your high beams will use a standard 55w H1 bulb that can be bought anywhere and are very cheap.Thw w5w bulb is NOT for seeing at night its called for city lighting sorta like running lights.

post pics of the headlights, especially the back of them, i doubt very seriously we installed the hids in the high beams, they are installed on the low beams and you would need 2 halogen h1 for the highs.

Habbie,

Thanks for staying with this one. The HIDs are in the right position. So my terminology was backwards; I have no hibeams nor is there a socket for the lamp, nor is there an access port to get the wires to a bulb if I had one in the housing. The parabolic reflector is made to hold these W5W bulbs, so if I do get the correct socket for an H1 it still won't be correct. Please advise.

zx7rhitch,
I'll be in Sevierville on Tuesday, please PM if we can meet together somewhere.

TIA.

the socket you pulled out is for the city lights.
the high beam bulb housing is still there, it has no holes in the back cover because none are needed, the high beam use 2 h1 halogen bulbs which are not included, there's a loose white wire with a spade connector in the high beam housing that cobnnects to the back of the bulb.

it may help you some to read the many install guides we have available before attemting to install the headlights.

If you have a link to this specific issue I'd be obliged. There are none related to this in the DIY forums at the top of this forum, nor is there any help on your sponsed site: http://www.unitedbimmer.com/forums/lighting-diys/

Don't take this wrong, I am your customer. The instructions should have been included with the lights. I should not have to dig for information on the net for a product I paid a lot of money for from your company.

I have no hidden agenda, nor am I trying to bash your product, I just want it to work as specified.

I appreciate your help.

Peace.

changing a bulb is pretty simple and a straight forward process which i explained to you in detail previously, remove the high beam cover, install h1 bulb, plug in white wire with spade connector to back of the buls, install high beam back cover.

sometimes people can not do it themselves and its best to enlist the help of a professional to do it for you or someone who has done it before.
the headlights were pre installed and are plug n play, 2 plugs to connect and you're done, i don't know how much easier we could of possibly made it.
