Ya Colt state will probabaly be the next meeting place. You coming? My name is Nick in case you forgot mine haha.
fishforlife 10-28-2007, 08:40 PM good to see bmws at the track...glad you enjoyed your time there. do some shit this long cold winter and kick its ass next time you go.
savage217 10-28-2007, 08:49 PM I wont be doing anything besides suspension mods since I plan on auto xing and hopefully tracking the car next season. I have decided to not spend the 3k on paint and rather spend at least some of that on suspension, maintenance, exhaust, etc. I will def go back to epping, but to run really good times you need gear changes, power, drag radials, etc. Basically not what I am looking to spend my money on.
georgiev 10-28-2007, 09:11 PM more video's from me on the way. will up load tomorrow
MASSBMUU 10-28-2007, 09:13 PM So is a 16.3 a bad time for a 94 325i, with just a Dinan chip and cais? and a traction control that was on?
savage217 10-28-2007, 11:05 PM the 1/4 mile time for a 1994 325i was 15.5 stock according to the 1/4 mile times. You need a clutch though. Once you get that fixed you should be ok.
MASSBMUU 10-28-2007, 11:20 PM the 1/4 mile time for a 1994 325i was 15.5 stock according to the 1/4 mile times. You need a clutch though. Once you get that fixed you should be ok.
If a 94 325i stock is doing 15.5 stock... whats a 96 328i doing? And if a 95 m3 is doing 14.0 , why you only doin what was it 14.5, with mods? Are our bimmers tired or what?

Dont forget these are with professional drivers which obv none of us are. Mine did run faster than a stock 95 m3 ran as shown above. I ran a 14.3 so it is better than stock.
fishforlife 10-28-2007, 11:49 PM i like to use fastautos.net for my times.
14.0-14.2 seems to be consensus for atleast e36 m regardless of engine and model (lux/sport) ofcourse with a tit 60' time. you can learn most from a vehicles trap speed heres a great conversion site.
http://www.tunercalcs.com/hp-from-quarter-mile-trap-speed.html
fishforlife 10-28-2007, 11:51 PM that site assuming with you in the car weighs 3200 with your trap estimates 227 whp....pretty accurate
savage217 10-28-2007, 11:56 PM Yea I was just going to say. Id like to see what mine could do with 17's on there or lower profile 18 inch tires. The only thing that is weird is that the kid with hamann body kit and sunbelt cam kit ran a 107 trap speed and he has everything in his car so I assume it weighs 3200 pounds also and according to the whp calculator is says he has 305whp which he obv doesnt have.
fishforlife 10-29-2007, 12:09 AM it might assume that the car has slicks or at least drag radials. this will bring down the trap speeds a little...let me crunch some number quick.
00BMW540i6 10-29-2007, 09:08 AM Dunno if I'll make it to Colt...kinda far from me...
