What do you guys think about this one? I know we've seen it before but what the hey who would do it if they had the money. Even though the description is sort of shady...

well, that is one question anwered for me.. how the TI with the Mtech rear bumper would look if you removed the diffuser.. in a word, aweful. The spare sits out there with nothing to hide it.

Gotta be a quick car.. there was one in a magazine recently (I think Bimmer) they put the weight around 2800 with the engine swap.. still makes the car at least 300 to 400 pounds lighter than an M3

I always wanted to do that to my 318ti back when I had it. Although many do not like the looks of the bobtail ti, I always thought it was very unique looking. Ultimately the complexity of the project dissuaded me and I just bought a 98 M3.

When you can get a bmw m3 convertible for about the same price, why would you buy this?

Wait til you can get the 350tii

because it will show it's shortened bobbed tail to most E36 M3 here on the forums.. that is why you should get it

I can tell you've never seen a 318ti in person. I see My Ti trunk as larger is not slightly the same than my brother's E36 325 and M3. Even larger when u remove the removable dash. but I don't like it without the diffusor either. It looks naked

i'd take one over an M3 if i raced it a lot.

with that description, either he is trying to dumb it down for the general public or someone else did the work and gave him a list of things done.

that is a very nice ti and I bet a ton of fun!

ti is the best e36 for me. Although I'm not that big of a fan of the swap. DASC, coil overs, Reiger Infinity front bumper, M3 rear and various other mods and lightening a ti would be the only newer car I'd really like to have.

truly spoken like someone that's either never driven one or just says f#<k all to how fun a car is or how it handles. Vert M3 is the proving point. And wtf is the 350tii since in the press release it didn't mention that name at all if you're talking about the tii 1 series friend

I think that the problem with TI's is that, no matter what you do to them they're still kinda funky and cheap looking. :(

Funky is a good thing... who wants to have a car that looks like everybody else's? Despite a collection of performance upgrades the "cheap looking" perception remains unfortunately true for the ti.

you would want to really check if its a 3.0 or 3.2 because he states 95 m3 with 3.2 and those 2 things dont match. From pictures, it may be a 3.2 with OBDI intake or 3.0 with S52 valver cover. Or it can also be a combination of 2.5/2.8L, need to check the block since heads are pretty much identical. The block should either say 3.2 or 3.0

Why would anyone not put the diffuser on, that looks horrible.

The back bumper looks bad, the "squishy" look to the rear isn't my taste, but I bet the power is, as Homer Simpson would say "gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh"

after reading the description, I would avoid the car. it's incomplete and it looks like the swap was done on the cheap, check out the intake air temperature sensor!

A friend just completed the swap on his '95 with a 3.2, it came out much nicer.

yea i am always wary about buying cars with swaps 2nd hand. if you dont do the swap yourself (or at least supervise and pay someone) then you really dont know the ins, outs, and history of the car.

i dont think Ti's look cheap at all. well actually that is a lie. i think ALL E36s look cheap. :(

i thought club sports were only available in 95 and that they all had black & red seats? this one is a 96 and has no red on the seats, yet he claims its a club sport. perhaps im wrong though.

i would avoid a car that is so obviously misrepresented, whether it is ignorantly or purposefully... unless you really know what you are looking at.

i would like an M-powered ti... clex2's specifically.
