Many of you may know this but the new issue of Bimmer magazine I just got, has a Z3/Z4 market update which has awsome info on prices problems and whats happining with our cars, what's for sale, what's not. Really good issue IMO.

Can you share more details? Any plans on changing production numbers or reduce price?

Weird - BMW Car just did an "Ultimate Guide" on the Z4 as well.

Those 'Ultimate Guides' are the best reason to buy Bimmer. Good unbiased information, what to look for, what to avoid, maladies, prices to pay, etc.

Even if you're not buying atm, nice to have the info in your personal database.

I'll sort of list the synopsis for the 2006 and beyond models

-Z4 for 2006 was updated with 2 new N52 motor - with 3.0Si being a 255HP due to 3 stage induction, free flow exhaust and different DME programming.
-Z4 also offered as a coupe model
-Both Z4 models got larger brakes
-Restyled from bumper/air dam with rectangular fog lights. - reshaped rear tailights with adaptive technology.
-New alloy wheel designs, new paints and upholstery, improved interior materials and available brushed aluminum interior trim.

2007-
minor updates - standard aux input for audio system and availability of HD radio as option

It included a list of minor and major issues for the various Z4 models. if anyone wants a list of specifics. Please let me know. I'll try to summerize as best I can.

They also say the Z3 will be collectible in the coming years and actually already is but the Z4 probably not.
