To the BMW CCA Hawaii Members,

As you all know I sold my BMW and at the moment am not looking for another, the only BMW in the family is the 330 which I gave to my daughter. But as I don't have one physically, I opted to step down from being a Co-Chair Membership Coordinator.

I had Pat remove me from the BMW CCA Hawaii Chapter website and will be turning all the materials I have to Ed Billingsley who should either take my place or be nominated and elected as the next President.

This is not DRAMA as someone might drum this up to be, but what I must do as I am getting more and more involved in my Vette and my P-car.

I still will try to get involvement in drives and meets as they are BFC events and have nothing to do with the BMW CCA.

The next drive is scheduled the weekend that Ed gets his car back from being repaired at Vidals. Brenden let me know on the Kole Kole Pass Drive.

Thanks again for supporting me while I was the BMW CCA Hawaii membership coordinator, I am still a card carrying member till 2009.

No BMW need to save money for the Blue Devil aka Corvette SS aka Z07 aka ZR1. Corvette Forums is now projecting a huge dealer mark-up putting the car at $200K.

Flex,

So the Blue Devil is supposed to be a supercharged LS7, probably around 650hp to trump the Viper SRT10 ? my oh my

check out the current issue of Automobile, they have an article on the Viper SRT10 and a Lingenfelter Z06. The Lingenfelter is normally aspirated and claims 620hp...ported & polished heads, cam swap, etc.

Well the rumor is that Dodge will be answering back with a 675 hp Viper once GM unveils the Blue Devil.

The recent 200 mph shoot out was won by a Hennesey Viper boasting 1100 hp it got up to 200 mph in under 30 seconds and in less then a mile. The Bugatti Veyron was 2nd and the Lingenfelter Vette 3rd.

That is if you ever get your car back from John H. instead of him just taking your money and then berating you when you call in to find out when he will be done.
