I can post up my psd file, there are about 30 layers integrating the golf reflections onto that audi base. the perspective on the two cars are a litle different so everything had to be readjusted

thanks for the support spastic, but I guess I can understand why they're a little peeved, it looks like a cheating chop at first glance.

I didn't modify the vw, every part from the vw needed to be modified in some way to fit the less-extreme perspective of the audi. IMO copypasting a kit and reflections is no different from copy-pasting a front bumper and grills and such, but whatever. And yes, this kinda copy-pasting isn't as noble as brushing, but frankly there's no way I could rebrush a kit and body in 4-5 days. I guess I could've picked a different bg, but this one fit so nicely.

regardless, I'll probably sit out of the contests for a while, the e-drama is killing me

Calm down buddy..I didn't once make a personal attack at him so you don't need to do that to me. Simply my opinion. Not taking anything away from his chop as I agree its the best one up there..calm down and don't say shit about my chopping skills when you know nothing about it.

Just saw the issue now... C'mon guys!!! Anyone who has seen the original images knows that #4 is from the original image... It is just well done so it actually fools the eyes into thinking that it is a totally different image...

If you are going to judge based on what your first impression is rather than judge based on careful study of the original image and photoshopped image, then maybe you shouldn't judge at all...

-to some the chop is easy shit, to some it is difficult. It's a different approach to chopping perhaps from the other entries, so the result is a little different.
-just a note for future contests, yeah this was probably a matter that would have been better handled over PM's. If I get to host next contest I'll work on a rule about cheating chops (which is what I was accused of. Although I would insist mine isn't cheating, cheating is common. cheating would consist of taking parts from other chops or using a different base. I was semi-expecting getting called out, but I didn't expect it to get this heated)
-I'll probably leave votes and some comments and criticism in another post (btw, thanks for all the positive comments, and even the negative ones. remember though that you really should say why my chop is shit instead of just saying "it's easy shit". can't improve if we don't know what the problem is right?)

4pts to #4 - Easily the best, but the colors chosen for the wheels don't do it for me, I'd prefer wheels like chop #5.
3pts to #5 - Front end and wheels are super clean. I think a carbon fiber lip would've fit well.
2pts to #3 - It's hot, but everything looks a little skinny, making the front grill/panel? stand out a lot.
1pt to #2 - It looks a little dull and so much carbon fiber makes it look like a civic hatchback, but I think it'd be sexy in black.
