What's the proper procedure for adjusting your headlights? I've searched the forums and I've even googled it. Nobody seems to have an answer...well, they do, but nobody can agree on one common way. I've read that you need to be 25 feet from a wall and measure some distance up the wall and then measure 2" below and something happens, lol. Then I read that you only need to be like 5 feet from the wall and just make sure the "line" from the light is even with the top of your headlight housing.
Surely there's a better way? :conf

here is what i did, it worked perfectly and my headlights are dead on aimed.
park your car aprox 20-25 feet from a wall (on a flat surface) take a measuring tape. measure from the ground to the center of the projector lens (lets say its 24 inches up). go to the wall and measure up 24 inches. mark it and align and your done. This put me right below the trunk line of every car on the road. PERFECT

You're almost correct. With the headlights 25 feet from the wall, aim them so that the horizontal cutoff is three inches below the height of the center of the lens.
