Gentlemen: Here's my problem: I have a 1991 735i. I left it parked for one reason or another for a month and when I went to start it the battery was completely dead. Probably I accidently left a light on or something. Anyway, I charged the battery with a slow charger without removing it from the car, as the manual says to. As you may guess, the radio display now simply reads "Code" meaning I have to input the 5-digit anti-theft code.

I have the original manual with all the materials, including the little stickers with the anti-theft code. Following the instructions TO THE LETTER, I punched in the exact numbers and - you guessed it - nothing happened. The radio display still reads "Code" GRRRR. The only thing that doesn't seem right is that the LED light for the anti-theft display never comes on -either burned out or a fuse.

Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!
