I was trying to drag you to CMP for an open-track day earlier this year. :D Glad to hear you got an M3, I'm sure you'll enjoy it on track. Get the weight down and suspension/tires :D edit: I havn't done a TSCC auto-x in almost 4 years, yikes. Might have to stop by! 323is 10-25-2007, 08:16 AM come on out man. and tell simon to come too E30 Stu 10-25-2007, 12:29 PM come on out man. and tell simon to come too I'll come by in the morning. Don't plan on running, my current wheel and tire setup is not going to put power down in any way/shape/form. :( M III Pilot 10-25-2007, 06:23 PM You could always put on an oversteer show.:cool XelderX 10-25-2007, 07:44 PM I'm going to have a lot of questions for all you BMW guys on Sunday. Namely, what do I need to upgrade first and where is the best place to get the parts from. E30 Stu 10-25-2007, 11:06 PM You could always put on an oversteer show.:cool We sure had fun at the end of the day at CMP :D I enjoyed your youtube footage--unfortunately I havn't gotten my video feed loaded off my friends camera yet--I need to get on that! Setting it up for HPDE, racing or auto-x? XelderX 10-26-2007, 02:21 PM Setting it up for HPDE, racing or auto-x? I'm building another FSP car for next year so I don't plan on doing much auto-x with the M3. It could end up at a few autox/HPDEs, but I'm not looking to make a dedicated track car. Just something fun to drive without having to explain to dates why the ride is so stiff. My problem is that I spent 4 years building my Protege5 into a great AutoX car and extremely fun, but very uncomfortable street car. It's been a long time since I've had a bone stock car and the idea of upgrading things is getting to me even though I really don't have to touch it for any particular reason. I just can't leave well enough alone. SLH350 10-26-2007, 06:13 PM I'm gonna bring the camera hopefully, got a messed up hub otherwise I'd run the M3. E30 Stu 10-27-2007, 12:55 AM Simon-- what was the pic of the E30 you texted me? Did you buy one? JByrd 10-27-2007, 02:38 AM Welcome to the forum XelderX.....I didn't know you had an M3 now....congratulations.:buttrock Guys, if you're trying to decide on this one.....I gotta' tell you.....Dixie is a GREAT SITE, and Triad is a great autocross club.
