New to forum, but have found a lot of great info.

Been through the trunk not opening and with the help of this forum I think I have found the problem, now looking for a solution?

The right side of the lid is not fully closing when I drop the top. I have traced it to the right "bowden cable" (I think). The retainer (small black plastic piece) in the bracket is broken so the cable (runs through an L joint) does not remain flush against the bracket.

Hard to diagnose if the cable is "stretched" since it will not stay seated to the bracket.

Adjustments don't work. Any ideas? Joe
