It is, well it has some aftermarket rotors, but that's it.

Stock, unmolsted, well kept..

Beautiful.

I'd buy it if I were in the market. $15k sounds better though.

http://sacramento.craigslist.org/car/685626035.html

That car is, indeed a very nice car, but the seller needs to come down on his price a bit. He started at 18,500 almost a year ago. Believe me, I looked at it last summer, and said the lowest he'd go at the time was 18,200.

Very clean, and looking back, it's WORTH the $17k, but I wouldn't pay more than 16k now, $16.5k a year ago.

Here's the old link:

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/car/734048440.html - 97M3 $10900

Silver/Gray. 5 speed Coupe. 113K miles. 18" BBS RK wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1s (235 front, 245 rear) 90% tread left. Also have original 17" wheels with Yokohama Advan 032Rs (front:shot back:barely used). I switched the front spring caps to gain some camber and reduce understeer. M3 Lightweight X Brace. Adjustable, heavy-duty aluminum rear control arms (replaces notoriously weak OEM arms). Red Autopower roll bar. Euro front rotors: a must have. Recently spent over $4000 to get everything mechanically up to date (Invoices available/Marin Auto Works in Mill Valley). Drivetrain is stock and original as it should be. Original clutch is still perfect. I have to sell my loved M3 to start a new business. I have owned it for the past 8 years and enjoyed every minute. I was going to turn it into a weekend/track car but have to sell now. I’ve been a BMWCCA member for 10+ years. It had one weekend track event in 2001. It is mechanically an A (EVERYTHING works). Transmission shifts like new. Just had fresh paint on the hood and front half of the car. New floor mats, shift knob, windshield and hood ornament. Fresh hand wax with Liquid Glass and steam cleaning of the leather (also conditioned) and interior. The car is located in Marin County on Lucas Valley Road, possibly the best driving road in Northern California and an excellent place to get a feel for the car.

-Not mine. :D
