I'm not sure how tall you are, but I'm 6'2" and I know I only have about 2-3" above my head inside my E36 and that's with race seats in it which are even lower than stock. I'm not sure why you would want to do that anyway, the E36's lines are perfect to begin with. (I'm saying that legitimately, not as an elitist owner.) fishforlife 10-24-2007, 09:58 AM ill take pictures of it with me in it. i made my own mounts for my recaro pp's. i sit on the floor. im low enough that instead of 2 bolts to mounts the seat brackets in the rear i had to turn them into studs and make them just tall enough for washer and nut. im 5'11" and with a helmet i have 10" + above my head. im doing it to save weight and help the cars areo's. i do aggree with you on the lines....i love this car. it will be a full cf roof.
