Ok. I guess this is the way u want it. I tried to play it nice, but I don`t think u deserve it. Last month, I traded my Recaro Polo seat for this guy's DR SIDE VADER plus cash . The first time we met, he couldn`t take the seat out coz it wasn`t sliding forward all the way!!! He calls me the next day saying he fixed it, we could do the trade. Couple of days later, when I went to install the seat, I realized the seat doesn`t slide all the way to the front again and on top of that it has play even though its been bolted to the car :mad!!
I also gave him a 5 point racing harness, which he was gone pay for in couple of days but he never did!!

All vaders I have sat in have some play in the sliders. Instead of making a huge deal over it, fix the slider and get on with life. As for the harness, I bet next time you will demand cash on the spot instead of listening to some horseshit about cash in a few days or whatever the hell it was.

I am not sure how u got the Vader out of your car coz this thing not only doesn`t slide but also moves to left and right once even though its bolted to the car!!!

To tell u the truth, first I didn`t care about the harness. I know It was my mistake and I should have demand cash on the spot. But The fact that I have to take the seat out and have it fixed its not cool at all!!!!

Sounds to me like Mike had a problem with the seats aswell, just handled it like a man, and put up with it. On the other hand, the OP just acted like a little girl and didn't just buy a new bracket or something.

To the OP, yout not at a store where you can exchange and return, WELCOME TO THE REAL LIFE! Your lucky Mike is agreeing to trade back, other wise your better off to just admit you ** up, and move on. Or......"handle it like a man" and then call your mommy from jail to come bail you out.

That's a fault of the car and bracket, not the seat--if you carefully examine the stock seats they are offset quite a bit and you need to pick a proper bracket (VAC sells one that works, iirc) that will allow you to offset the seat and have it line up with your steering wheel.

I just used the speedware bracket and gave up on caring about being slightly off center.

i have had a good experience with farzad so far i guess in my puchases. its turned out pretty well. when things went wrong he has offered to go halfs on the stuff that needed to be fixed.

also threatening people is not the way to go about things. everyone knows people and or they can do it themselves, but lets not make this a pissing contest please of who knows who.

I don't know. Because this guy not only didn't pay for what he received (harness) but apparently he's also whining about having the wrong bracket for the seat. As if somehow that justifies it. I don't know about a cigarette burn, but it should have been in some kind of pictures or description, and honestly if you didn't ask for either that's your own fault. Buyer beware is the saying isn't it?

It looks like the threadstarter went through all the right avenues to try and right the situation before taking it to the forum. This is still ridiculous either way. They're actually shipping single seats back and forth? what a waste of money.. I do agree though, too much testosterone and the way it's heading is negative. Something does need to be done, though.
