I'd like to get the time to get more pictures up, but in the meantime, I wanted to share my story about visiting the opening of BMW World in Munich on Saturday.
I was in Germany for the week and drove down to Munich Friday night. Saturday morning, I spent some time in the older parts of the city, but knew I couldn't miss going to BMW headquarters.
I lucked out that it was the grand opening of BMW World with building open to the public along with media events and activities.
Again apologies for kludging the pictures. I'll get some more up later.
It's a palace! The architecture is stunning and the presentation of cars, technology, lifestyle, and design just incredible. In the future, most of this would only be open to those taking factory delivery.
I also spotted a 1 series coupe on the road. It'll be out in Europe next month.
It was like being a kid in a candy store. I collected every brochure, ticket stub, bag, you name it as a sign that I was there.
