W210 (not AMG) - 1997-1998 auto

There are a lot of things to take into consideration. The biggest being finances.
All those things aside, I would get the 528!:)

Limited finances :(

Um ok, you gave us three choices. If you cant afford them, then obviously all of them are out of the question.

You gave us three choices. Which one can you afford? they are all good choices. Ofcourse alot of us are biased since we all own bmw's so you might also want to take this to the off topic forum.

But you cant give us three choices on what you want but yet can only afford 1 out of the 3. That pretty much is answering your own question.

Not sure whether to go for a new m5 or a new m6? It's a hard choice.

Oh hold on I havent got any money. Guess I'll stick with my 10 yr old brum brum for the time being then....;)

I have the money to buy each of these 3 but I don't want to spend much money on maintenance... I guess you got it wrong

Hmm.. just outta curiostiy... why not a 2000 528?
:az
It's newer, so less wear and tear...
It's not much more expensive then a 97/98...
They are especially sexy... (see sig ;) )
just askin...

Exactly how limited are your finances, crimz? Let us know so we can offer more useful advice.

The 2000 528 is about 13 k

I don't want to spend more than 9k (10 max)
I want manual bmw, benz or audi... the a4 < 2001 is exluded, 2001+ expensive, a6 no man (except 2.7 twinturbo $$$$$)
I don't want E36.
The only auto I can accept is W208 or W210 bcz in US & Canada there's no manual available, but when you know there's BMWs man and you are driving auto... kind of sux
I was considering also Acura TL & CL but the Type R (the only manuals) are very expensive and not worth it.
Volvo S60 another possibility also 13k +

So I think I've considered pretty much everything I like, and the 3 possibilities for the $$$ I want to spend are E39, E46 & W210.

If anyone has something better in mind, please let me know :)

:thanks:

Judging by your previous posts, you're not gonna get what you're really looking for with that budget. My advice...hold off until you can get what you want.

i just find it odd that people ask opinions on what car to buy....are you actually buying one or do you just want to start a thread...?
