are these metal rings and are they stick on or the snap on type ?
Thanks

they are from the cluster glass in the mz3
they are preinstalled at the factory with little progs that they melt from the back

i dropped it and cracked it so i yanked the rings out

they are a hard plastic
i believe they would have to be glued in
i've never seen the oem ones for sale so i can't say how easy or hard they would be to install
as they are installed from the front at the factory, not from the back

i will have a complete mz3 cluster next week if anyone wants the whole thing

$160 shipped

Would that be a direct replacement for a '98 M3/4....

kosta

the mz3 cluster is different
it doesnt have an mpg gauge

i could sell the front only $125 + shipping

I don't need the cluster just the cluster glass with the rings ( exactly like the pict you posted ) Would that fit an E 36 M3 ? BTW please explain " the front only " part
Thanks

kosta

by front only
i was referring to glass/rings

the cluster is 3 parts

yes it fits all e36 models

What condition ( broken tabs, scratched glass etc etc ) and would you be able to email me some picts ? BTW what's the source of this unit if you don't mind me asking ?
Thanks

kosta

i don't have it now so i can't say 100% of the condition
i should have it next week

most of them i get from different vendors, salvage yards, different forums etc

the ones i get are almost perfect
as operfect as you can get without being new
they may have light surface scratches in the clear plastic from age and use but that's all

PM me once you get one....if the glass is clear then i will buy it...BTW won't it be much easier replacing the front then putting the rings on ? Where can i buy those red needles and are they compatible with E36 M3 cluster ?
