so i was driving down the street and when i came to a stop light my car just started smoking like crazy from my engine. so i pulled over and and left the car running and opened my hood and as i was looking for where the somke was coming from i looked down and saw that the belt pully for my AC Generator was red hot. so i shut her off really quick. then as i was inspecting it i noticed that there was some rubber sticking out of the pully end. so has anyone had this problum before?

What's an AC Generator? Are you talking about your AC Compressor or your Alternator??
