View Full Version : Still no new info on UUC exhaust? SG John 03-25-2003, 11:04 AM Anyone? :dunno Kevlar 03-25-2003, 11:42 AM Nothing yet... SJJ28 03-25-2003, 11:53 AM a couple more weeks is what i was told! DINAN//BIGL31 03-25-2003, 11:56 AM 2 weeks , i asked last night ... M3 might be 3 weeks MattMan 03-25-2003, 03:16 PM Rob said two weeks for the M3 6 weeks ago.... http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=61056 "read his post reply to S4play" We shall wait and see.. Rob Levinson 03-28-2003, 11:04 PM We've had a slight delay... the exhaust must be perfect, nothing less is acceptable. I would rather delay the release of a new product to make whatever tweaks are necessary, not just sell "close enough". I hope everyone can appreciate that. Thanks for your patience, it really won't be too much longer. Good questions.. nothing marketing please.. some dyno #s / weight figures / sound clips/videos would be nice. There are some clips out already. I know DYNO #s are subjective but post any results you found (giving us the environment, conditions, and variables used). EvilM3 03-29-2003, 08:54 AM There was a video with sound posted on here awhile ago. The exhaust sounded great. Got rid of the pissedoff chainsaw sound. I am waiting for the Ultima BBK for the E46 M3. Rob, can the polished calipers have the UUC logo painted in dark blue or black? That way it stands out more? Yeah I downloaded the UUC clips when Rob first made them available. I am looking for *new* stuff. With some of the changes we made, weight and figures may have changed slightly. As always, I prefer to take a production piece straight out of the same batch that all customer orders come from to take final weight and performance measurements. Prototypes are prototypes, but nobody manufacturers prototypes in bulk! :D Rob Levinson 04-01-2003, 12:01 AM Originally posted by EvilM3 I am waiting for the Ultima BBK for the E46 M3. Rob, can the polished calipers have the UUC logo painted in dark blue or black? That way it stands out more? It could be user-painted with high-temp paint rather easily... the logo itself has an engraved border, so "coloring within the lines" would be easy. We would not offer it painted that way, but I am looking into high-temp logo stickers in various colors that would fit within the engraved area.
