Hey everybody,

i'm a newbi on here,i've got a 1989 e30 m30 335i which i plan to turbo for next year.

i've been given a large Garrett turbo at work from a truck for free and was wondering what you guys thought.

numbers on the palte are as follows,

1250750
452070-3
AF00458ATA5130

sizes form the turbo are as follows,

comp A/R 72
cold inlet 76mm
cold outlet 57mm

hot outlet 84mm
turbo flange size is 113x70mm, what flange is this???

i think this turbo is too big as i've looked at the engine cc it came off and it works out at 11L the same as a holset hx50-55. Has any1 got any idea if this would work or should i take it to a turbo company and put it in against another smaller turbo.

i would post pics up but as i'm new it won't let me!!!!!

any help on this subject would be very usefull.

Cheers

Andy.

Measure carefully. You will run out of room under the hood real quick with the e30. Glad to see more SOHC guys coming in. What is your goal and budget for the m30 FI?
