Hello everyone,
I have recently rebuilt the head on a 1991 525i. I took the head to a prefessional machine shop. I got it all back together and it runs ok but there is a horrible sound coming from the intake cam. It does not sound like pistons smacking valves. The only way I can descride the sound is, it sounds like a loud diesal engine? And the noise is only coming from the intake cam not the exhaust.

Any Suggestions?

ummmm, i think ur on the wrong forum, I doubt someone here knows much bout 2.5L on a 91 :devillook
