I am on campus now, but will be able to find pics of the car before it was stripped for an idea on how low it will drop you. I will also hopefully have pics ready of the springs/shocks tonight.

Yeah sorry I can't be more help with the miles ya'll. The good thing about bilsteins is they're like craftsman tools (in my experience) -- if they break, they'll replace them without any problems. -- but these aren't busted :)
ballplayer7373 10-27-2007, 03:28 PM Ooh, I might be interested, my front struts are busted. Just picked up my first e34 yesterday and don't know much about them, (most of my knowledge was 3 series oriented) so any idea how this setup would ride compared to stock? I want a decent level of comfort on my DD, and also any idea what kind of life might be left on them or if there's some kind of a lifetime guarantee? Thanks

This setup would be really firm, FYI.

The ride would be quite stiff, i'm sure it wouldn't be something you would want for a long distance drive (unless you're youthful).
Bilstein lifetime warranties everything, H&R doesn't. Both are still in great condition.

PM/d you
tjn182 10-27-2007, 07:03 PM I'd still rather sell them as a whole to one buyer - otherwise I would get shafted on shipping with the price I listed.
If you guys wanna figure out how much you are willing to split for the springs / shocks seperately and then add like $7 on the springs and $15 on the shocks for shipping and handling then I'll be happy.
Otherwise $400 shipped for springs/shocks together :)
bondheli 10-27-2007, 07:05 PM Are you parting the car?
e34bmw540i 10-27-2007, 09:19 PM Yea i want the mirrors.
tjn182 10-28-2007, 12:03 PM Car was 100% parted out about a month ago guys - ebay-ed almost everything.
And the oem M3 mirrors are totally on my e36 :)
I think I'm going to keep these shocks/struts and put them on my e24 - A lowered 6 series would be badass :)
