Pretty much.

Why do you think they are so gung-ho about the Aggies? That's all they have going on in that town.

Austin has all kinds of stuff going on so it's not all UT Orange all day, all night.

lemme just translate here... I tried to run some game on some hot 20 year old coeds and got rejected like Schneid going into a Mosque. ;)

Yeah, College Station sucks. There's nothing to do there but drink and screw 18-22 year old girls. Trust me...I did that from 93-97.

+100 Not enough girls. It's like a cult. If you drink the maroon Kool-Aid, you love it, but everyone else wonders why anyone would want to live / go to school / visit there.

like I said, if you don't like to drink and have sex with college age girls the place is a pit.

Z4, there are about 22,000 females between the ages of 18-25 down there. If that's not enough for ya you are the man!

+1 to that! :)

That town does not exactly suck... Texas World Speedway is on the south side of town, The Riverside Annex is on the west side (largest auto-x pad in the world!), drag racing in nearby Navasota, you can go from one end of town to the other inside 10 minutes, they have a huge collegiate Sports Car Club (TAMSCC, whoop!), tons of bars and restaurants, its dead square in the middle of San Antonio/Austin/Dallas/Houston, and cost of living is relatively cheap.

And the women.... mmm.....

You know the best thing about girls in a college town? They never get older. :D

The college experience there is "pretty unique" but you have to take that Aggie thing only about half seriously or it will make you crazy. :D I got my degree there but didn't live the 100% Aggie life (they call us "two percenters", but its fine with me). Went to some football games and enjoyed a few other campus activities, sure, but you don't have to be die hard TAMU student to have a good time there.

Sure, if you don't know the area or many folks there, its a bit daunting. Being a college town there isn't going to be 1 million things to do there like a big town such as Dallas/Austin, but there's still a good bit to do.

SFA was fun to party at, i sometimes miss that school but time to move on and do better stuff i guess. but i will have to agree that SFA > A&M minus the fact that it ate my car into pieces the year i was down there :(
