So I am pretty sure that I have to sell my car for parts. I would rather that it go to someone who isn't going to strip it clean and sell it for a profit, but my standards have to lower so I can recover some of the cost....
I want to give forum members first shot before I sell my soul to ebay / the recyclers.
1997 BMW 740i, black on black. The seats are magnificent condition - had 2 owners before me, and I'm pretty sure neither sat in the back, not that it matters. Car was never smoked in. It has cold weather package but not heated seats (I know, weird.) It has a BMW CD changer in the back. It has tinted windows and blacked out sidemarkers as well as rear lights. I will include the original lenses. It has a set of original ABS (not Chinese knockoffs) black rims.
Car has no cat converters (were missing when I bought it). Also the roof upholstery is sagging.
Damage is (unfortunately) severe - the front end has been removed. The majority of the impact (tree) hit the left front engine support member.
The vehicle is missing: Hood (but I have most of the internal parts,) Passenger fender skin, bumper (I have the mounts) - basically everything in front of the engine. The radiator is bad, but the other cooler appears fine - if there is interest, I can pressure test it. The passenger headlight is gone. The windshield is cracked (all of the other glass is intact). The air intake box is badly crushed.
The front driver and passenger airbags deployed. The side bags did not.
Car has a minor dent on the drivers door, and the driver's running board is dented. The driver's side front fender is dented. The paint on the roof and the rear of the car was badly scratched (barbed wire fence.)
The engine and transmission worked after the crash - I was able to start and drive the car ~50 feet for the tow drivers. 137000 miles.
The stereo and electrical system appear to be fine.
I would like to get $5k out of it, but I will consider offers. Heavily consider them. Alot.

Pre-accident rear seats. Not much has changed inside - the interior was unaffected.
