If you search eBay for "97-03 BMW E39 HALO DEPO PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS 528I 540I ", you can find a set for about $180 from X3|Racing. They are Depo and look like a reasonably cheap way to have an updated look. I have 165K miles on my ride and don't want to invest a lot of money in it.

I have searched Bimmerforums and much of the info on Depo headlights is a year or two old. Wondering if anyone has put these in recently? I have stock Halo lights on my '97 528i and would like to replace them with this set from X3 but am concerned I'll have a wiring mess on my hands to fit them in or that the product is not very good.

Any comments/suggestions on this kit?

Thanks!

I have P39's from Umnitza. The quality is not on the same level of OE Hella, but they kick arse pretty good :D . Wiring them in is not too big of a job. The highs and lows plug in just like normal. Your positve wire for the angel eyes get's tapped into the wire with constant power for the parking lights. The negative get's screwed into a ground....

Here's what they look like on the car:

Yes, but Umnitza takes the regular Depos and "soups" them up with brighter angel eyes and better wiring.
