I've had my E36 for about 20 months, and I'm loving it. I've done pretty much every suspension upgrade, save subframe bushings. I figure I might as well have the reinforcement places welded in while the mounts are getting installed.

Anyone know of a good place in Houston to do the repair, and how much it will cost??? I'm down here in Clear Lake and have had work done at Kaferhaus, but I'm not sure if they can do this big of a job, or what their experience is.

I'd rather have someone who's done it regularly, and can do it quick. I'll probably go with the powerflex subframe bushings while I'm at it.

NASAg,

Did you ever find a shop to reinforce your rear subframe connecting bolts? How many hours did it take and how much did it end up costing in the end? What type of subframe bushings did you end us using? Did you install the support braces from Turner's?

I'm considering doing this same project in the near future and was curious of what to expect.

Thanks for your help.

I have a spare M3 subframe sitting in my garage, just begging to be welded up and have new bushings put in it.
