I can probably get you one for US$85,- plus US$39,- shipping. If interested please send me the VIN to verify that it really fits.
wokke 10-20-2007, 07:38 AM I just did some research (http://bmwfans.info/original/E24/Cou/635CSi-M30/ECE/R/M/1980/05/mg-11/ill-11_0197/). The head gasket you need has been used on E34 and E32 as well. Part # is 11 12 1 730 223 ((1.72mm) or 224 (2.04mm).

Also, My 80 Euro uses the two listed above the 223, 11 12 1 730 951 and 11 12 9 065 668 because of no Cat. I do not know the real differences, maybe all four can work? Wolf?
wokke 10-20-2007, 12:42 PM I could imagine that the gaskets ones I mentioned (+ Cat) are reinforced for higher temperatures, but I don't really know. Somehow it does not make sense to me that they have listed two different gaskets (in the same thickness) for the same engine.
Next time I'm at my local stealer or in case the author of this thread is interested in getting them I can check.
Most likely I have to go there soon because I just returned from checking out an '87 635CSi shadow line in diamond black metallic which I can buy / probably will buy for Euro 2.000,- incl. a set of 8.5x17 Schnitzer rims which are worth alone Euro 500,-
