I'm embarrassed to ask this, but where is the button to toggle the door locks from the inside? The car is an 84 633csi that I bought a few weeks ago and I don't have the owners manual. I've been working the locks from the outside but can't see how to do it from the inside. There's a square mystery button next to the shifter, between the power window buttons, whose paint is worn off, but when I press it nothing happens. Is this supposed to be the lock button?
Thanks!

If it's working correctly, you only need to push down on the lock knob(can't think of the proper name right now)that's on top off the door at the rear. And to unlock you just open the door normally. There are no switchs on the console or anywhere.

and your mystery button next to the shifter locks out the rear panel window controls so wee lads and lassies can't open the rear windows when they're not supposed to.

Yep, pressing the little lock nub on the door does the trick.
Thank you sirs!
