okay so i bought a 92 325is and in wouldnt start after i bought it. so i finaly got thing towed to a shop. so the guy basicly told me it was the steering wheel lock assembly. my question is, would that be the only problem for my car not starting? or could it be the igniton as well? I guess what i want to know as well, my car wouldnt start and some said its cause my steering wheel was locked. If my steering wheel were to unlock should it start? or will it start even though my steering wheel were to be locked.

does the engine turn over when the key is turned or will the key not turn.. if it is the later i would first try shaking the wheel violently while holding preasure on the key it may just be the turn lock....

no right now the car wont even turn over. just the lights and electronics come on. the guys said that it should start when i get this shit installed, but im wondering if its more that lock assembly.
