Okay so the SES used to come on n off at random times now it is on all the time. So i scanned it at autozone and got the code. Then i got a febi/bilstein Exhast Cam Sensor then put it in. The SES was still on with the same code and i got more noticable misfires. Then i bought an oem Sensor today at the Dealer and put it in my car. To my surprise the SES is still on im not sure if it is still the same code but i am still pretty positive. It still does misfire when i floor the gas but not too noticeable when daily driving. Does anyone got any ideas on what i should do? :confused

After replacing the sensor you need to clear the fault codes (which will turn the light off) in order to find out if the problem is fixed. Once a fault code is stored in the DME it will remain there until cleared, although the light will go off after three "driving cycles" with the fault not present.
