I have a set of 1985 BMW 635CSi rims with metric tires still on them. I put a set of newer M5 rims on becuase awhile ago becuase the metic tires cost way too much and now i am looking to sell them on ebay or something, but if they are not worth anything i will just keep them. Does anybody know how much they could go for on ebay?

Well that depends. How good are the tires? If they arent good, your looking at about $150 to $250. $250 if they are absolutley perfect, and not bottlecap TRX's. So they really arent worth the trouble unless you find a local buyer that really really wants some nice TRX's for a stock resto.
They make stylish hose hangers though. If you have a shop you can use 1 for air hose and 1 for water!

nobody really wants them cuz TRX tires cost out the ass
only some completely anal retenative 6'ser owner would want them.. but since nobody wants them, they are usually very cheap to get

I'm in a similar situation in that I plan on replacing the TRX's. So is the $150-$250 range for a complete set or per wheel? I fear that it's the set...

'fraid he means for a set.
there's so many people, like yourself, dumping them on the market or flat out trashing them cuz the tires are too expensive and difficult to find.

Just think, the way that these rims are getting trashed, maybe in another 20yrs they'll be worth something for their rarity. I seriously doubt it because then tires then will a $1000 each(if still made). I've given countless TRX's away for free.
