its very cold out and my car won't start not even a turn over nothing the lights go on I can hear the fuel pump. but i go and turn the key and nothing lights don't even fade. its like the starter is not engaging or the is a majaor grounding. or maybe my car really hates the cold.....However the car ran great last night. I even ate some cars but I didn't hammer on it. maybe somthing went in my ignition.:help

i am posting my own replies......I think my ground is bad off the battery.

Do you hear anay clicking or anything? If not the controling wire to engage the starter may be corroded. Disconnect the battery and take a look at the starter. There should be two smaller wires.

i hear nothing but the fuel pump. I will have to look when I get home. it has never had a problem. the bat ground looks very suspect. but keep the ideas coming i will try them all.

fixed it!!! Bad Grounds. that and Moisture on the terminals turns to ice
