Oof, that's quite a drive from Santa Monica (1+ hour).

Has it ever been in an accident?
Originally body parts and paint?
Are there any notable interior or exterior dings, dents or blemishes?
Why are you selling?
Have you replaced anything in it yet? (eg. water pump)
What is your regular maintenance like? Change oil how often?

Never been in an accident.

Original body parts and paint, except for headlight (euro projectors DEPO gen IV with angel eyes professionally installed about 2 months ago from umnitza) and the two replacement fogs (oem/zkw). Windows are tinted at 23/17, the original OEM headlights come with the car if you buy it, but they suck because US oem stockheadlights for E36, well, just suck. lol.

Notable dings and dents? Not really, but there's slight scratch at the left rear corner of car (1 inch?), and rock chips and damage on bumper from the mileage it acquired throughout its life, and front passenger side of bumper's under panel is missing, but you won't know unless you bring the car up, even then I don't think you would know >.>. Some waterspots on right side of the car (passenger). Overall body is in good condition.

I'm selling because I learned to drive in a manual, and I really want to drive manual again, I'm probably getting the same model as this car in manual, I just love this car, otherwise I wouldn't be changing cars at all.

The whole cooling system was replaced about 30-40k miles ago before any sign of overheating.

Oil change using Mobil 1 Synthetic 0-40w every 5000 miles throughout its life. The last oil change my stepdad was using the car in San Jose and changed with regular, but the next change I'm switching it back. The car runs only on Chevron (with techron :) ) octane 91.

Uhm, well I don't like having hidden surprises so I'll list anything I can think of.

The front and rear bushings are worn, but car still handles sharply so I haven't changed them yet. The rear tires r worn and needs to be rotated to the front, some curb rashes on rims. The car comes with HK speakers (Harmon Kardon), and 12 CD changer Alpine in the trunk. The seats are real leather so there are signs of wearing out. All windows and moonroof works, the car has stock factory alarm with key fob and remote. The rear passenger side door's lock is broken (it just doesn't automically lock/unlock, has to be done manually, not much of a bother since no one ever uses the backseat).

Anyway, I want to know, when you say it only runs on 91 octane, does that mean you only fill it wil 91? Or does that mean it must take 91 to run properly?

Also, is the door lock/unlock problem an electrical problem? I would want to fix it, do you have any idea what caused it?

Well it's a Bimmer, i only fill with 91 and higher, of course it would run if you fill it with lower rating octane, but that's not exactly great for the engine.

As for the lock, I think it's mechanical because sometimes (rarely) it would lock/unlock along with the other locks when I use the remote, well I have no idea lol honestly.
