View Full Version : My 1st BMW ?
Bonds 25 10-15-2007, 09:15 PM Hi guys this is my 1st post. I was thinkin about ordering a '08 335 xi silver titanium coupe with black leather, sport package with 18 inch rims, cold weather package, 6spd and Navigation. My question is, for those of you who own 335's , what are your likes and dislikes? Shall I choose to order, this will be my 1st BMW, so im quite excited, but Im hoping for some reviews from people who actually drive them everyday before i commit to ordering. Thanks
SocratesBMW 10-15-2007, 10:18 PM I have zero complaints about my 335 coupe.
Danny 335i 10-15-2007, 10:22 PM I have an 07 335i coupe, space grey met.,sport pack,6MT,alum trim w/black leather. I absolutely love the car. There isnt anything i have to complain about, or dislike about it. My last 3 cars were an 01 Camaro SS (6MT),an 03 Evo 8 (modded to about 340whp),and an 06 Evo BR350 IX (SN #005) which ran right out of the showroom 0-60/3.8 sec. 1/4 mile low 12,s,no top speed limiter,(180 mph no sweat). I swore i was going to keep the IX for a while. But i sold it with 10k miles after owning it for 18 months, after i looked into the 335, which i heard about the first time on an Evo sight.Turning 50 my taste started to change a bit in cars.So after reading everything there was about the 335i coupe i decided it was definetly for me. I wanted some refinement and style, and a little more class with my performance. The Evo is a fantastic,( to say the least) all around RAW performance car.But like i said my taste changed and i wanted something less raw. I miss the Evo everyday, but i made the right choice and am very happy with my 335. You will be too if you decide to get one.
newcastle 10-15-2007, 10:24 PM Been driving all the 335 modles for the past 6 months and havn't come across any dislikes about them.
RBrylawski 10-15-2007, 10:45 PM This won't be long. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE OUR TWO BMWs (335i Coupe and Convertible) more everytime we get the pleasure of hitting that start button and listening to the engine burble to life. Nuf said...........
mattyass 10-16-2007, 12:31 AM I just received my ti silver 335xi coupe this weekend. Its almost the exact same as yours only it also has Sirius and comfort access, which I would recommend. You'll have no regrets. Its an absolute blast to drive! Mine is auto with paddle shifters, which IMO is the best of both worlds. This car rocks!
mryakan 10-16-2007, 01:44 AM If you love driving and you are buying a car to enjoy driving it not tooling around in a comfortable living room on wheels, then no BMW will disappoint.
Go for it.
01stang 10-16-2007, 02:00 AM man i wish i have a 335... but i have driven my friends and it's awesome!!!!!!!
Danny 335i 10-17-2007, 11:25 PM AWESOME it is!
trek1500 11-15-2007, 03:49 PM I love this thread! I'm still wavering between a 335i and a 328i and reading threads like this give you a real world perspective as opposed to reading car reviews!
Beer Goggles 11-15-2007, 03:52 PM This site is filled with real world perspective. As mentioned 10011101 times. You'll be happy with a 328 and odds are if you like power...you'll be more happy with the 335. I have 5500 miles on mine and a love it.
trek1500 11-15-2007, 03:54 PM Power is intoxicating....

aftp302 11-15-2007, 06:37 PM is that 157 in binary form? :D
Yes, indeed it is. Although 1 billion and change makes it sound more impressive!
As for the OP, I have almost 11k miles on my 335 and lovin' every minute of it.
