Traded my STG3 A4 to Bimmerfreak on the forums here about a year or so ago. I'm wanting to get out of the vert & into a 2dr coupe.
The car dropped a valve a month or so ago. Don't ask me how. I was dropping my daughter off on her first day of school & when I went to start it back up, it was toast. Had it towed to JUST BMW & they did all the work to it. They sent it out to a place in Tenn..I can get the name of the shop if needed. I have receipts for all work done.

The car runs strong...doesn't use very much oil at all. I believe it's stronger since the head work was done.

Estoril w/ black leather interior
112k miles
5speed
18" SSR GT3's wrapped in Kumho ASX's lot's of tread left.
235's up front, 255 in back
Koni adjustables w/ eibachs
Clear tails & corners


In the past 1k miles:

New radiator, water pump w/ metal impeller,t-stat
Conforti software
Stromung exhaust
Conforto CAI
Ported & Polished head, new springs, intake guides
New tierods
New rear rotors/brakes

Have receipts for all the above.

The motor for the tops storage bin was replaced along with the tension straps by BMW a few months ago. Have receipt for that as well.

The interior has normal wear for the year. I'll be putting a new shift knob on before it sells.
These pics don't show the exhaust or CAI but their on there. I can take newer pics if someone wants. It looks pretty much the same. I also had all the door dings pulled out from a guy that works for BMW in that kind of work.

13k or trade for a Coupe w/ 5 speed. Color not to important. SC'ed would be a plus. Would add some cash. :D

Bump for a great car, love the color combo. I got to see this for a bit while Bimmerfreak had it and dug it back then. Great job on the Audi, btw... I wanted that car.

does the car exhibit any issues from having part of the motor rebuilt? On average how much oil does it eat? Are there any problems with the suspension, motor, or vert top which could use or need attention?

No issues at all with the motor from having the head rebuilt. I've only put a little over 1k miles on it since the head rebuild. It hasn't used any oil at all.
The top works great,has a newer rear window also.No problems with suspension either.

I love the car, love the way it handles. My kids love it even more. But I want to get a coupe.

What do you think about that? That's mine. Always wanted a vert. I'm semi-willing to do the trade but my car has put down more rwhp stock then any M3 i've seen on this board (226.8 three times in a row). It would be hard for me to let it go, and its been very well taken care of. The only draw backs is it has a few minor dings and a fender needs to be touched up. Its truly a freak motor and a strong car. Over $8,000 in records in the last year..dosn't drink oil...idle's like a charm..runs 13.7's, modena interior, has 10k on the clutch and 8.5lb flywheel and turns heads. PM me what you think.
