I parked my car and was gone 15 minutes. When I came back the tow hook cover was gone off the rear bumper. I went to Reeves (my dealer). They have to paint a replacement. Jason called at 5:00 to say it would be ready tomorrow. Fast service. Hopefully the paint will match. Has anyone heard of this happening? My paranoia is that someone took it. The service guy said that's a possibility

I have heard of this happening before, but that person complained that the new cover cost something like $85. 10 for the piece and 75 for painting. hopefully your issue is not like this. also I have heard that some people have tethers holding theirs in. maybe your new one will come with a tether so it will not happen again. keep us posted

I had exactly the same thing happen, the dealer replaced and painted a replacment for free

The dealer (Reeves) replaced it free. Jason got it done quickly.

My cover was gone within 30 days of new. The local dealer replaced it for me within 4 days, no charge. I've see two other 335 coupes with their tow hook covers missing also. I find it hard to believe that there's a tow hook klepto running around the country. I suspect there's something wrong with the way they are being attached.

SAF BMW has an automatic car wash for their shop...I've done okay so far with them, but who knows about tomorrow...
