I'll check the antenna. Thanks! If you have MKII nav, there is a GPS receiver module by the AMP/CD changer that the antenna plugs into. If you installed the TV antennae and leads you'll have 4 cables that look very similar, 2 for TV antenna, 1 for GPS and the lead that connects the CD changer to the AMP. xtahoex 10-15-2007, 04:02 PM Ok I checked and the antenna was plugged in. I unplugged it and reseated it and it still shows my vehicle out in the atlantic. I have the MKIII so it plugs directly into the nav comp. Is there somewhere else that I may have unplugged it? I did not install the TV antennae so I am not confusing myself. Thanks for the help. bimmerfixr 10-15-2007, 06:13 PM Ok I checked and the antenna was plugged in. You can check by removing the driver side grill in the rear parcel shelf. The GPS antenna is under there and you may be able to see the connection an inch or so from the antenna. Are you sure you didn't switch the cable to the radio or the AMP with the antenna lead? Otherwise the cable may have broken internally. It kind of gets bent with the computer installed. |
