Have any of you ever tried any of those Sylvania Silverstar (or similar brand) ultra white halogen bulbs in the DRL/High Beams? I'm curious how "white" these look when it's only the DRL thats on. Is it still fairly yellowish due to the fact that it's dimmed for the DRL? The reason I ask is that I have 6500K angel eyes, and the DRL look like CRAP when they're on. The contrast is horrible. Other then disabling the DRL, I'm wondering if any of the ultra white halogens will do the trick to make it match better?

I've used the 'colourmatched' bulbs from Umnitza and they work pretty well. They're a little off-hue for the drl's but pretty good overall. I prefer them in my fogs though, just put a cheap set in my DRLs

silerstars are P'sOS they last 1/8th the time of regular bulbs and they don't give off that much more light. Just my opinion though.

So even when the DRL are on, the Xenix are still whiter then crap halogen? The reason I ask is when the high beams are on, my bulbs look white, but when the DRL are on, they look yellowish..

Canadian Tire and such sell the Sylvania Silverstars and Silverstar Ultras, but apparantly there are better brands out there, and for cheaper. I believe the Ultras are on sale this week for $49-59 CND.

u can buy those wedge bulbs anywhere in canada. Even at Canadian tire or ur local rice shop.

I was wondering the same thing. I'll be switching mine soon, and these umnitza ones look good...
