I wouldn't say rare, but hard to find one in the right color, right price, good condition, and close enough to pick up, cause nobody wants to ship something like that.

That's all very true. I was lucky to find one in new condition in Germany and the guy even came over to bring it. :D

Out of curiosity .. what is require to put a hardtop on.

Just lower your convertible and out the hardtop on ?

install the "install kit"

and then stow the soft cover and attch the hard

You need to have these mounting points underneath the small plastic caps.

Some cars have it fitted from factory, some don't. Easy to check though.

On the Install Kit, where in the heck does the wiring (for the rear lights and defroster) plug into? I installed the kit myself but cannot find where the wiring plugs into.

Didn't they print out the install instructions?

Well if not, it's posted on here in some topic. Do a search and you'll find it.

See if it lists "hardtop preparation".

Or just pull of the 2 plastic pieces!!
