smstevenms 10-14-2007, 12:31 PM These don't call out to me. These might look a little better if the centers were painted.
Red Ribbon Army 10-14-2007, 01:18 PM great wheels, I bet with a polished lip and maybe a painted center It'd look money.
smstevenms 10-14-2007, 01:22 PM That's what I was thinking.
mxl556 10-14-2007, 04:13 PM ET 26 won't fit e21's. These are e30 wheels, unless you want to use spacers...
Beautiful wheels though, if they are straight and true...
Anyone wants to buy mine with already polished lip, great looking paint and e21 fitment? Same price...

smstevenms 10-14-2007, 04:33 PM Do they look like these? Do you have pics?

mxl556 10-14-2007, 07:03 PM Yeah if you want to pay $200 for spacers and bolts. Been there, done that...
Just saying that these are not direct bolt on wheels...

These are the ones I'm selling. going on ebay tomorrow
smstevenms 10-14-2007, 07:43 PM $200 for SPACERs, geez. hell no.
mxl556 10-14-2007, 07:52 PM Hartge are great wheels, no doubt. Best quality and all, they are worth a lot of money ( 2K+ new or so). But I had the same problem on my old yellow e21- I got a great deal on e30 wheels and figured that I can get spacers and all, no biggie. Turned out to be $200 for 15mm spacers + bolts and I did a lot of shopping for that. So wheels were not such a good deal anymore, plus I personally rather use proper fitting wheels that some business with spacers. Also, if you use cheap non hubcentric spacers you end up having dangerous car with shimmies and all that. Hubcentric ones were $160 + $40 for proper bolts.

95+20 at bmp for 15mm h&r spacers and lugs.
mxl556 10-15-2007, 02:32 AM For set of two... :) I would not want to have different offsets front/rear
I actually was able to find them for $80 shipped for a set. And bolts are $20, hundred for an axle.
I just shared my opinion, because I was in the same situation and it cost me way more $ than planned to use e30 wheels. If someone wants to try , nothing wrong with it, I'm not interested in arguing here. Good luck getting a great deal on the wheels that DON'T fit e21 properly.

e21gangsta 10-15-2007, 11:20 AM way to thread jak max to to get your own sale out of this. ha, ha , ha :)
AlaskaBimmer 10-15-2007, 12:52 PM I'm running E30 wheels on my 323i Baur. It came with 2 sets of bourbets when i bought it. the spacers on mine however were made long before you could buy a kit for the e-21. they are hubcentric custom machined aluminium, with a stud convertion using grade 8 all thread cut to the right length and loctited in. I can't imagine how much it cost to custom build spacers out of a hunk of aluminium...
The stud setup works surprisingly well. I replaced most of the studs with new ones and the lock tite effectivly holds those things in after years of torquing. If I goober one up they are a pain in the butt to replace but it can be done with a few hand tools in about 15 mins...
