almost time to put the new engine and gearbox into my car, i have seen pics of engine and gearbox being put into the car in one total section, i have a young mechenic to help but he has never done an e21 he pulled out the old engine and box but did them seperatly, anyone have some thoughts and mayby some pics thanks in advance.:help

an engine hoist that can change the angle of the engine and gearbox (dont know the name) is a must if your gonna do what you say as you need to angle the gearbox into the tranny tunnel then once that is in as far as it goes you can then adjust the angle on the hoist and lower the engine down. hope you can find this useful.
