Well, my euro amber turn signals came in the mail a few days ago, and I'm about to start modifying them to get them to fit. Blitzed mentioned that there was a writeup on here on how to change it from single filament to double filament - but I couldn't find it - anyone know where it is??
Also, I've heard you have to trim them a bit to make them fit...i'm hoping that's not true, but if it is....how much :help
For the 'parking light' feature, here's a couple DIY's:
DIY #1 from 'topgun' (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=487916)
DIY #2 (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=488426)
If you're putting euro turn signal lenses on N.American turn signal housings, the housings will need to be trimmed.
If you have the whole euro turn signal housing & lense, they'll fit right in (no modification required).

I don't see how he can say that switching the two wires doesn't matter. Dual filament bulbs are two different wattages. You want the dim one for the parking light and the bright one for the blinker. Would look silly if you get the two sides different.
