It is an automatic and is black with tan leather. Also, I have just replaced the water pump and belts, as well as two window regulators and one window motor.

As a suggestion from someone that spends a lot of time car shopping, when listing cars for sale, include enough info to screen out those that will not end up buying it due to "must have" / "can't have" features, and needless posts/messages back & forth. Some examples include:

Model (Turbo, ST, GT, 525, etc.)
Style (2D, convertible, as applicable)
Color (outside/inside, pictures can remove this requirement so long as everyone can see them, not all hosting accounts let shoppers/browsers see them)
Transmission (auto or manual)
PRICE- I don't like "make an offer" ads, and most forums I belong to prohibit them. This usually means the seller does not know what to ask for the car. Do some research on forums, Autotrader, and Edmunds TMV (True Market Value). Kelly (KBB) prices in my experience are unrealistically high. What are the cars actually selling for (or are they selling at all)?

Pictures- There are places like Photobucket that let you set up an account for free, and you can then load your pictures there & display them as links or images in forums. At a minimum, you should include all 4 corners of the car, as well as a few underhood and inside. If the car is known for rusting out in the driver floorboard and your has not, take a pic of this. Your car is instantly worth a lot more than the average model that has rusted here.

Some other things to consider adding to your ad:
Mileage- how many miles on the odometer?
What works- AC, motor, windows, seats, etc.
What does not work- fuel pump, radio, etc.
What has been done- oil changed every 3000 miles, new suspension bushings 6 months ago, clutch replaced 10K miles ago, etc.
What needs to be done- tires worn, about 1K miles left on them, driver's seat has a small tear, etc.
Body condition- rust, paint faded, etc.
History- how long have you owned it, what do you know about the use/service history
VIN- for a Carfax or history check, really optional but some do it

It probably takes all of 2-3 minutes to add this to an ad. It is your car and you probably know a lot about it. The more you present in the ad, the more likely you will attract a buyer that is looking for that particular car.

I don't like wasting time on both ends (mine & the seller's) when I see a "1990 Widget" for sale and the description is two or three words such as "good tires" or "needs some work". I usually will not call on an ad like this.

Now if I see a "1990 Widget 6000sux 4 door black with black leather, good paint, garaged, automatic, all options, 130K miles, everything except the radio works, 2 owner, good tires, $3000 OBO" I will call. The seller here has screened out those that do not want a black car or one with an automatic transmission.
