I have an 07 335i coupe,6MT. Does anyone know where the flapper in the left exhaust pipe is located?Meaning what part of the exhaust,E.G. near the ex manifold,down stream in the pipe,etc.?

In my E90, it's right beyond the exhaust tip. You can actually move the butterfly with your hand. If you need a photo, let me know and I'll take one, it's not that hard to find.

It's in the left tailpipe. Just shine a light in there and you'll see it. :)
