The gearbox on the 335 is Steptronic not SMG. But congrats enjoy car.:)

oh please, Ford buying BMW and not trolling? If not this guy is either dumb (excuse my German) or stuck on 1999 rumours. My ass hurts from laughing.

Of all car companies to call out about being owned by someone else, he chose the worst one to try and pull it over on. OP - pick any other manufactuer and you'll have a point, but BMW, not so much.

All I found was that Ford bought the Land Rover name plate from BMW (which is not BMW, since Land Rover originally was British). Look up the Ford Motor Company website (right here: http://www.ford.com/) and tell me if you see the BMW logo on any of those maker's names that are listed that Ford owns. Don't trust some random sentance in some article that you found while searching Google. Nobody owns BMW, except for BMW not now, not ever, period. Why would anyone buy a BMW that doesn't know at least that much about BMW? I doubt the OP actually owns a BMW. Nothing about my 335i feels, looks, or sounds like a Ford product.

Yeah? Well have you seen the new Lincoln X5 SUV or that beautiful Ford M6 convertible? Ford Motor Company's M Division (with Ford's own SVT) is "finally" going to be putting out some awesome cars! I think the next top of the line 5-Series is going to have the 4.6L V-8 from the Ford Mustang with that awesome 5-speed manual!!! It's going to be great!

This is a dumb thread... Is the OP even old enough do drive? What a waste of time...

Most importantly, Ford is a public company.... You cant make a capital purchase with stockholders money and not show it. It's called Sarbanes-Oxley. If you believe Ford owns BMW and you think you have 'SMG paddles' you need to learn a lot more about BMW!

Go do your research and feel free to come back and post an apology to BMW and this forum.

Well buy a clue!

You are an example that having a lot of money doesn't automatically make you smart.
