I'm not one to DIY but I don't want to pay the high price at BMW of Honolulu to do it. Any suggestions of where I might be able to get a decent oil/filter change on Oahu?

View Full Version : Where can I go for an oil/filter change? Lestok 10-12-2007, 02:13 PM I'm not one to DIY but I don't want to pay the high price at BMW of Honolulu to do it. Any suggestions of where I might be able to get a decent oil/filter change on Oahu? fastfly 10-13-2007, 02:57 PM There is a couple Jiffy Lubes in Honolulu. dirsh 10-13-2007, 09:52 PM I would never take my car to a jiffy lube 99MPower 10-14-2007, 01:25 AM shoot me an email at eagle483 (at) hotmail.com and we can work something out... filter/oil change is EXTEMELY easy, and wouldnt take more than 20-30 minutes, even taking the time to jack the car up and everything if you want just the basic oil put in the car, with new filter, take it to a basic mechanic shop (i.e lex brodies, firestone, wherever), but if you want some nice synthetic oil and such, you can do it yourself. There are more than a couple of us here on the boards who are regulars, who could help you out... let us know what you would like to do.... It's not jiffy lube, so they can tell you other things after the oil change if things need to be done. If you intro yourself as a BMW guy, tell them Evan sent you and they'll take care of until the day your car dies. Lestok 10-19-2007, 12:40 AM Thank guys! Will follow your advice...avoid JL and seek out Tony and Albert. Have a great weekend!
